The Claddagh ring, two hands holding a crowned heart, for over three hundred years, has symbolised love, loyalty and friendship. The history of the claddagh ring is believed by some to have been used as a betrothal or friendship ring.

The Claddagh is worn with the heart facing your own heart, and the crown of loyalty facing the tip of your finger to show that your heart is spoken for. Turned the other way it shows that your heart is open to approach. Details:
